In addition, the Registered Nurses providing our services are bound by the professional confidentiality obligations set out in the Health Professions Act (RSA 2000, c H-7) and the standards of practice of the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA), independent of this Policy.

Where any conflict arises between PIPA, the HIA, or applicable professional standards, the most protective standard will apply to your personal and health information.
